alright alright alright....
well spring break was okaaay. there were hardly any people in ameilia island. im not joking. let me get you a mental picture... you would go down to the pool, get a tan, maybe amuse yourself by watching people, i'd get there and there would be not one person there, this wasn't at any outlandish hours either, we're talking middle of the day, supreme time to get a tan. so i figure, hey the beach is probably nicer, i bet theres people down there. so i'd pack up my stuff. walk down to the beach take a look at that big blue ocean, then look around, and on a good day, there'd be about 3 people there, MAYBE 5. but that was it. it was like the place was deserted. my days consisted of laying out, watching t.v. going shopping, coming home and getting cleaned up. then going out for dinner, coming home and either watching a movie, or a basketball game. that was it. just about every day. so thank god i convinced my mom to leave on thursday. we drove over to live oak. which is where my mom used to go every summer and stay with her grandparents. so she reminisced. then i convinced her to drive me to panama city where oj was staying. so we left my stepdad at the hotel (he was doing taxes and other business work) and we drove to tallahasse where my mom then claimed she would not go any further (panama city was 2 hrs. away and we had been driving for an hour). so we kept driving while i kept stalling. we drove so long that we ended up about 15 minutes from the exit off of the high way to panama city. so i convinced her to just go to panama city. so we got to where oj was staying. now let me tell you, this place was the most kick ass holiday inn i have ever seen. it was no ordinary holiday inn. no. it was about 13 floors. and it was in the shape of an arc, and when you'd go on you're balcony, you could just about see every one else on their balconies. it was a big 'party' hotel, you could say. you had to have wrist bands to get into the freakin hotel, however i was just snuck into it. also, there was this huge pool, with little grass huts all around it, and this tent that played music every night from like 10 till 3 in the morning, where you could just go and dance, and there were a whole lot of people on the beach, with this stage like thing that played music, and they coordinated some activities on the beach. there was also like a tanning deck. it was definitely the spring break spot so to speak.
so on the way home, i was very bored, i mean its like 13 hours, so i just went crazy and made about 4 hemp bracelets and 3 hemp necklaces, and counting. i've made 5 bracelets today at school. so anyway. i leave for disney on wednesday. im playing bells there and the choir is in a singing competition. (i will be singing next year! yay!) but i'm kinda bummed out. i dont wanna be gone for yet another week away from my friends. it definitely sucks. you know whats funny, i was bummed out last year too. but that was because i was missing thunder over louisville. everyone always says "but you get to go to disney!" but theres always some reason that it just doesn't exite me. theres always something im missing back here. i hate missing things. like events, like just chilling with my friends. and i only have two more days before im gone AGAIN. sure i miss school, and i cant tell you how kick ass that is, but i JUST GOT BACK FROM SPRING BREAK. i'd just like some time to chill here with my friends and all. i never thought i'd say i want to stay in louisville. eh. tis the 2nd time i have wanted to stay in louisville when i was going to disney world. well, i'm sure i'll get over it. i mean disney world is a pretty cool place. quite fun actually. anyway. i guess i'll be going now. gotta go eat dinner. later.
