OOC: Things to know about Cassie
Name: Cassandra 'Cassie' Hughes/McBain.
Age: 17
Living Arrangements: Room #13 in the Main House with Thelma Bates (inshiningarmour)
Year of Origin: 2005
DoB: Unknown, but I'm giving her November 17th 1987
From: Guildford in Surrey, England.
Fandom: Hex (TV Series)

Cassie isn't exactly a social butterfly. Beautiful and artistic, but introverted and used to being treated with derision or almost completely ignored by her peers. She spent four years at Medenham Hall School, longing for popularity. Through all that her only real friend was her roommate Thelma.
Generally she's nice, if rather shy. She does however also have the odd bout of 'bitchy and miserable' and 'uber-h0r', apparently at random. Oh, and if she decides she really doesn't like your character, for whatever reason? She'll show little compunction over using her powers on them. Canonically, she sets a guy who insults her on fire. (I would of course always check OOC with anyone involved before having her do anything that extreme).
She's had a tough life to this point. Her mother is clinging to the last threads of her sanity and has been institutionalised since Cassie was about thirteen. Before that, Cassie looked after her on her own. She has never known her father. If she had, she'd probably already know that she's a decendant of the McBain witches. As it is, she's spent her life oblivious to the power she has access to.
Just a few weeks ago (to her mind, at least), Cassie discovered a canari - in a deserted building in her old schools grounds - into which she accidently spilled her own blood. Whoops.
That event has since awoken her latent telekinetic and clairvoyant powers, and gained her a truly delightful stalker in the form of Azazeal, leader of the nephalim. He's a fallen angel, and really not a good guy, at all.
She's now plagued by horrible visions of the past, and is still struggling to control her powers which only seem to show themselves at times of stress. Cassie's only confidante back at Medenham was Thelma, so when she left looking to get away from the unnatural occurences around her, guess who she asked to come with her?
I've taken Cassie from somewhere in the middle of the 2 hour pilot episode of Hex. She has her witchly powers, she has the canari, but her interactions with Azazeal have been limited to a bit of creepy looming on his part.
