The first thing Cassie did when she jerked awake, was glance across the room at Thelma's bed. Their argument was still ringing in her ears, and although she'd tried to wait up for her, at some point she had eventually drifted off.

Her heart sank a little, seeing it empty. Her hopes that last night had just been a bad dream, dashed

Bellatrix knocked on the door. Thelma had forgotten her rose the other night and Bellatrix wanted to make sure she got it.

Cassie jumped a little at the knock, still rather edgy.

Thelma would just walk right in, wouldn't she? Cassie took a breath and wandered over to open the door.

Bellatrix smiled, "Hi Cassie, is Thelma here?" She was holding the rose at her side.

"Ah." Cassie rubbed at her neck uncomfortably. "No. I don't... I haven't seen her since last night."
