Cassie jerked awake early, the visions of suffocating water and dark figures invading her dreams again. She'd thought she was rid of those, but apparently not.

She sat up pretty fast, reaching for a bottle of water on her bedside table. This was not her idea of a good morning.

Thelma was busying herself looking through the things on Cassie's dresser. She turned when Cassie sat up.

"Bad dreams again?"

"They just keep coming," Cassie muttered. She's even distracted enough not to care about the fact Thelma was rifling through her stuff.

"I could start... going in them. Try to make them better," Thelma said, fiddling with a necklace.

"Thought I already banned you from diving into my dreams," Cassie reminded her, taking a sip of her water.
