Thelma opened the door and wandered in, plopping down to sit with her back against Cassie's bed.

"I am a cow," she said, simply.

It took a long moment before Cassie moved aside what she was working on and leaned over to look down at Thelma. "Since when?"

For no particular reason, except that he liked talking to Cassie, Connor came by and knocked on the door frame.

Cassie glanced up at Connor when she heard the knock, shooting a smile at him when she realised who he was.

"Hey, Connor." She waved him in with the hand still holding her pen. "Come on in."
