Job search continues... More applications, phone calls, emails... No firm word yet on much. I had an interview for an accompanying job at a high school yesterday but it turns out they want someone for almost full-time. Given the pretty meagre salary, I'm inclined to turn it down even if I get it. I've applied for a few different academic jobs, but

You are an excellent musician who will find work in such a vibrant live music scene as Texas. If you want to do your DMA, then do it. But do not pass up any opportunities along the way just to take it. You can come back for it later if need be. Always remember the math...
