i just bought "the ethical slut". hopefully this will help me to understand and appreciate what is hurting me.

NO.

i'm going to read this book in hopes that it will help me understand why someone would choose a polyamorous lifestyle over me. i feel extremely worthless, used and undesirable right now. and i'm actually at wits end.

my prediction is that i won't be able to finish the book, because i will be so disgusted and hurt from the concept. at that point, i think you wanted to read it? i'll give it to you or something.

clearly, worshiping the ground that someone walks on is simply not enough these days.
