you really can't play ever again? isn't there like a heavily padded protective helmet or something? I remember Don Beebe had a football helmet with some extensive added padding or something so he could continue playing, maybe there's something similar to that for hockey...

it doesn't matter how extensive the added padding is, if your head gets knocked around, your brain is going to move and hit the inside of your skull which causes bleeding in the brain which is a concussion. If i ever get another concussion i have an extremely high risk of getting permanent brain damage, and unlike professional athletes who make more in a month then i will in 5 years, i can't afford to not use my brain and sit on my ass watching tv like a vegatable sorry i'm still bitter
