I'm not even into vampire fiction but the ones I actually did read gave me high expectations. Twilight is so fun to mock~
I had two versions of the ending in mind and thought I'd much rather have Holmes and Watson's badassery continue.

I had a whole mental image of this kind of mix of artsy-mess and domesticity in the modern part, hence the laptop because you know there would be no way a desktop computer would survive the clutter. I don't know why I was thinking about domesticity in a vampire-smut-fic but there you go!

This story is simply brilliant. Hot, sweet, romantic, funny,... and I loved how Holmes immediately wanted to join Watson in his new life, his absolute certainty that he'll always want to be with him. Also, how you managed to keep them completely IC - including bad-ass - is amazing as well as awesome.
