Even though it was a 100 degrees outside, Matthew and I thought it was a lovely day for a hike. We wanted to do something new, so we went a little farther down the road than normal to Flatwoods State Park. It's really beautiful, but it was short lived

but mud daubers arent murderous... in fact they cant even hurt you... they are just camouflaged to look like wasps...

Maybe I misspoke then - because this didn't look like a wasp, but a big fat sand-bee. Still pretty unnerving to be followed...
