Living in IL got boring and also cold. I hated winters to the point of rage. So I live in Orlando now. I was gonna go to Ft. Myers and live by the beach but when I went it was kind of boring. Orlando has lots of art shows/art fairs to sell art and be in and more stuff to do, plus I had some friends here so I will stay here instead c:
Something you might want to look into. When I was in Italy a few summers ago, I met an American couple and had lunch with them in Rome. We got talking and I learned they operate this giant art company in Miami, Primary Flight. http://www.primaryflight.com/ I looked into it and saw that it was super hip and they work with all of these really talented people.
w0w. I was at least skimming their site, looks awesome what they have going on. Thanks. I am going to contact them after I look around the site some more. I haven't been to Miami yet.
I'm still reading and commenting here. And on Facebook, as you know. But not on MySpace, which is ironic as that is where I first "met" you.
LJ is still my favoritest for actual blogging. If I have more than one paragraph of stuff to say, Facebook just doesn't get the job done in a satisfying way. Of course, looking back on my recent LJ posting history, it seems I don't have that much to say all that often. :)
Kitty #1 is adorable and cuddly despite her new habit of pooping on the floor instead of in the litter box. Kitty #2 is adorable and cuddly (also needy and pestiferous) and her new habit is trying to pull down the Christmas lights or at least unplug the timer they they're attached to. And Kitty #3 is adorable and cuddly-when-she's-in-the-mood, but sadly my hopes that a cross-town move would be a bonding experience between her and Kitty #1 proved unfounded, so they are probably frenemies for life, alas.
I was wondering what had happened to you. Welcome back!
I'm still here, but sporadically. In the time since you last posted, I've gotten married, gotten spayed, survived a year-long shoulder injury, and met some fantastic people I've formed a writing group with. I've also FINALLY started taking pictures of my jewelry work. :)
