I would like to go home. Not home to the cold steel bosom of the Alliance, but home, even though I'm quite sure there's precious little left of it anymore. I don't know what I'd do there, for surely there is no way for a man with my past to simply start over again. But I should like to see it again, to remember what it was like ( Read more... )

Come to think of it, never thought I'd hear you say it either. Ain't so bad as it all sounds...

OOC: I thought this was beautifully written. I always felt like anytime he spoke in the movie before he started losing his cool, he sounded like he was reciting poetry. This made me feel the same way. Very good!

Times change, Captain Reynolds, and we must change with them. I imagine it will be ... strange, at first. Changing course so drastically must be disorienting.

Oh I've done it a few times when pushed to it. Conjure it's always a bit askew, but it's easier dependin' on the situation.

Changin' with the times? Never been very good at that... at fittin' into a mold.

Yes, I am generally considered to be the "chosen one" of the Askani religion. Which will probably never exist, since my own actions wiped out the future timeline in which the religion came to be.

It's complicated. As opposed to the rest of my life, which is extremely simple.
