i'm in lebanon. i'm having a really nice time. i'm staying with my family in byblos (jbail in arabic) where they live. i've been to beirut once so far and supposed to go again tonight. it's an amazing city. lebanon is an amazing country. yet everywhere we go there is a tense undertone, especially in the capital. checkpoints, bomb searches,
