I have been a temp at my job for almost a Yr. By law, you are not allowed to keep temps employed in the same position for more than 365 days. So my boss has been talking about hiring me on permanently-- I think this is in the bag because

this has nothing to do with the insurance business-- it has everything to do with employers taking advantage of the recession and it being an employers market now. they hold the cards and they are going to get everything they can for as little as possible while they can.

I just got fired for the very first time in my life. Basically to make room for some schmuck that the owner of the business was friends with. Jobs suck. I can't wait to get my embalming certification and find a job.

god i wish that were true. my boss has been keeping me updated, until last week it was "we need you. im sure we will keep you. you are awesome. you are the best" then last week it was "we really thought it would be a slam dunk... but its not turning out that way... seems like they would rather hire people who wont get severance if they let them go..." and then, in come the new temps. im going to go postal. watch the news >:(
