If my parents said that to me, id be pretty pissed and also id get offended becuase they act like they think your stupid enough to talk to people to who are 'wierdos'. And from personally knowing you, i know your not stupid. Also if hes talking about the kind of people i think he is [molesters and such] then those kind of people cant do anything to you unless your willing to give them information, and you obviously aren't. So if I were you id say "look dad im almost 18 years old, and its ridiculous you would think id be up talking to people would classify as wierdos, seeing as im not someone who would put myself in a dumb situation like that. All im doing at night is talking to my friends, cause there isnt anything else to do at night, besides watch tv, and there isnt anything on but girls gone wild commercials at that time anyway, you should really be protecting me from that crap, if anything. I am being safe on my computer, and i would like for you to be able to trust me with that
