muchlikeadreamer: question*

Yes, anyway. I made the mistake of promising my friend Lauren that I'd go to her water polo game on Wednesday. I honestly don't know anything about water polo, couldn't care about sports, and would rather spend my time otherwise, but it's my friend, and she always asks me to go to her games and it's CIFs. Plus, it's girl's water polo, so I wouldn't have to deal with the awkwardness that is watching guys in speedos at boy's water polo games. Because this story entails two people named Lauren, the aforementioned Lauren shall be referred to as L1.

Anyway, as with generally all events, I don't like going alone. So, my general train of thought becomes "Who's usually free on Wednesday?" Well, in the middle of orchestra, in the front of most of the class, I asked my other friend named Lauren (hereby referred to as L2), and I'm very exact here, "What are you doing Wednesday around 5-ish?" It is at that moment where my friend Nauzli took the opportunity to remind me that Wednesday was Valentine's day. 'twas mildly embarrassing, but no skin off my back. Looking for a date during this time of year is actually pretty depressing, not to mention the fact that I'm broke and have no car, but that's beside the point. And if you're curious, I forgot to get L2's answer. So, I still on track to go to the water polo game alone at this point.

Oh, and one last thing - stolen from http://www.urbanskies.blogspot.com/

life is not about everything you know, but everything else... there is so much more... and it takes time to comprehend... that is why we grow older.

it's not about looking pretty or attractive, but knowing you are beautiful and seeing the beauty in other people.

it's not about being happy... it's about diligently keeping the balance between the good and the bad...

it's not about learning the events around the world. it's about the people involved in the events, and how they are.

it's not just about saying, "life is hard", but helping each other get through those difficult times.

life is about hue.

life is about rue.

life is about people.

life is you and whatever you believe life shall be.
