Birthday greetings!

I am officially able to drive whenever I want, vote, gamble, buy cigarettes (i would never!) and anything really except buy alcohol but, it doesn't feel any different-my car still gets locked in, i still have to do SOME work for school and I am just getting over a big rejection so i have to ask-what is the big deal about birthdays?!?
