I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually longing for the gray days of Winter. I miss having those lazy weekends where you spend the entire weekend in your PJs and watching bad movies/TV. kudzu vines-fucking killer. the only reason that i am seriously considering moving right now is because i'd like to move to a place that has a little more space so that i can have a garden. i want a garden.

Kudzu and English Ivy vines are my arch nemesis. I rip them out and 10 more grow back. Peachtree City, south of the ATL, actually ended up renting goats to take care of their massive kudzu problem. I'm seriously considering it myself.

Definitely! Just give us a few weeks notice, that way we can make sure the house and yard is extra tidy. I've been following your blog and I have to say your photos are mighty awesome. Tell Leah we say hi!

i always look forward to seeing you on LJ. your posts, your pics especially, and your rantings. glad everything is going good. hope it stays that way. sometimes i think we cant all be sane all the time. i wonder when/if you will break down. i did yesterday. I will make a post soon. I am in the process of making my own candles and soap. do you know anything about that? miss you.. tell rick i say hi. btw, when you making a trip up here? you will love it. you can stay with us in our loft too if ya want.

Sadly I don't know a whole heck of a lot about soap or candle making. I know that with soap you sometimes have to work with some nasty chemicals such as lye. But with 'organic' being the craze these days, there are alternative methods I believe. Seriously, if you get into making organic soap, there's some $$$$ to be made. I bought some from a lady here in Atlanta (http://www.loveyourmama.com/) for gifts, and her stuff goes for $8 for one bar!!! You might also want to check out www.crafster.org. It's full of crafty folks and tutorials.

We want to make a trip to Portland someday. (I want to renew our vows at Voodoo Donut!) Probably not this year though. Too much craziness with the house and all that. Plus we might have a bathroom remodel coming up soon. We recently found a leak and some rotted wood. So we might be spending all of our money on that versus a vacation this year. =/
