My dad was yelling at me just now because I failed a class that I got an A- in. I had an unexcused absence because he never called the school to excuse it, causing me to fail French and get a G for Gym. AND he tells me I'm at fault because I didn't get on his ass about calling. I told him three times and every time he said he'd call the next day.

I'm incredibly annoyed with the family right now. Can't really explain in words how furious they make me.

or is there some sort of cut off date where they can no longer be excused?
My brother had almost the same problem. Except he had so many that my mom had to talk to the principle. My mom can be very persuasive so she got them all excused. This was before the school year ended though so I don't know if you can still excuse them.
I guess it doesn't hurt to try though.
