Well, it's Matt and my 5th wedding anniversary today! I can't believe it. Time has totally flown. To celebrate, he's taking me to some fancy shmancy restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. I can't remember what it's called, but they made him put down a $50 deposit on his credit card for the reservation. WTF ( Read more... )

I've taken the day off work every year on my anniversary (8 so far). Give it a try!

I took the day off last year. This year he couldn't take off and I had a meeting scheduled so I figured I'd save the vacation day for when I'm totally stressed and can't handle going in to work for another day.
