I'm not a big AFI fan anymore, but they have always come up with nifty logos. Yours looks good.

They seem to have lost a lot of old school fans :( (me included)....

thanks, thats really what i wanted because everyone is getting the little heart bat thing, and stuff that other people would think of, i wanted something original and that only had special meaning to me

I love it. I've thought about getting an AFI tattoo myself, but haven't really come to a decision about it. I do intend on getting a ship based on the ship from the cover of Black Sails in the Sunset. I have a particular history with that album- I started listening to AFI when it first came out, and it really had an impact on my teenage years.
