I am working on designing my first tattoo which I plan on being a memorial for my bengal cat Wire. He was with me through some of the hardest parts of my life and now that he's gone I really need to be reminded that he's still got my back in a way ( Read more... )

o my, was he a gorgeous boy. I want a bengal in the worst way...they are such cool cats. Love the idea, definately post when you get it done :)

His breeder was jumanji bengals. :) Radar ( my silver bengal) I got from a local hobby breeder who was selling them really cheap unfortunately said breeder e-mailed me recently saying he's stopped breeding so boo.

Unfortunately, I don't know any breeders or tattoo artists in Canada (being Australian) but just wanted to let you know that it;s such a lovely thing, to honour the cat who was with you through so much.

It's funny; you can rationalise that they are only pets but in so many ways, they are closer to us than friends or family.

My black cat Baby, who first came to live with me when I was 11, died last year in June and I still tear up when thinking of him.

My very first tattoo was in his honour; a black cat with green eyes on my upper arm. It sounds so silly, but when ever I feel stressed, I caress the 'Tattoo Baby' and it calms me immensely.

I'm so sorry for your loss and best of luck finding an artist who can do him justice; he was truly a beautiful little cat.
