time for jon to jump on the livejournal POPE ENTRY bandwagon. it seems to me like all that the election of a new pope did was divide people a little bit more. i cant exactly say that im pleased with the cardinal's choice, but to be perfectly honest IM NOT CATHOLIC SO IT DOESNT AFFECT ME. i guess the only disappointing thing is that i saw a new pope ( Read more... )

people just need to realize that not everyone has the same beliefs (political, religous etc) and learn to deal with it, just because they dont beleive the same thing as you doesnt make them wrong. on a side note...i was totally expecting the whole black smoke white smoke thing to be cooler, not quite sure why but i was underwhelmed by the conclave festivities. but the sistine chapel looked amazing!!!!
