Can't wait for the second part.:D Poor Ollie. I know all of this still are the consequences of his past, but he was devastated. Ollie only wanted the best for Chloe, the best date. The good thing is that Chloe knows this and stood beside him. And by the way the night promises to be good. lol I'm loving the story, it's good to see Ollie mature and moving to become the hero he deserves to be and of course Chloe being part of all this. Love to see Chloe as Watchtower, the heroine that she is. The partnership of them and all the romance is fun, somethings makes them a little upset, but in the end is fun and touching. :)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked this and that you're looking forward to the second part. Ollie really did feel terrible. He felt bad for the way he used to behave and for ruining his night with Chloe. But she really doesn't blame him because she knows he's not that person any longer. Aw, thanks! I'm so happy you're enjoying the story that much. It's been really fun to write. :)
YAY first date ! Too bad Arielle ruined their dinner but in fact, I'm happy they spent the night at Oliver's place, just the two of them :) It was also great to see Oliver open up about his parents
( ... )
I couldn't just make it easy on them. But it was much more important for Oliver to let her in than it was for him to impress her with a fancy dinner. Thanks so much for the comments! I'm glad you're enjoying this. :)
Loved this part. Wanted to smack Arielle for throwing her wine on Oliver and ruining his dinner with Chloe, but I like that Chloe wouldn't let him dwell on the guilt because she knows he's changed. I'm amused that Chloe hasn't told Lois she's dating Oliver. My guess is that will be all over the papers so she won't have to tell Lois. Heh. I'm glad Ollie filled her in on Lionel's killing his parents and trying to have him killed.
I know, Angie. It was very evil of me but honestly, I blame LJ for making it harder for me to fit stuff in one post. It was the only logical place to stop. I think people might have been more upset if clothes had actually come off...
Chloe really wasn't fazed in the slightest. Ha! As far as Lois goes, Chloe might need to take back some of the mental stones she threw at her cousin for hiding her relationship with Clark...Chloe isn't as secretive as she thinks she is.
Thanks so much for the comments! I'm glad you're enjoying this and looking forward to the next part. :)
I just love how Chloe and Oliver are not holding back from one another and are on par with their situation. They do make their own rules so screw the world!!! lol I ain't mad actcha' for leaving us hangin. lol Happy writing.
Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying this and you're not ready to hunt me down for leaving it there. ;) Chloe and Ollie definitely do things their own way and it's part of what makes them so awesome. :)
Nooo you didn't just leave it there!! OMG I'm so happy your muse is back and what a way to return. This chapter was soo.. I don't have big enough words/praises for it! Every word seem to small to describe how I feel about this
( ... )
Aw, I just want to hug you. That was like the best comment ever. Seriously, thank you. It means so much that you're enjoying the story so much and that it makes you feel all of those things. *blushes*
I don't even know where to start! You said so many nice things. I'm glad you liked the restaurant scene and it was super awkward and uncomfortable for both of them but I wanted to make it clear that things are not perfect as far as the outside world goes. Chlollie have kind of been in their own bubble all this time and this is going to take some adjustments.
Chloe is so hard on herself. Even in this universe, she's fairly closed off so she can't get hurt so she automatically thinks that her problems don't matter to anyone. Pain is pain though. Ollie wants to be there for her and he knows her well enough to know the right way to do it.
Aw, thank you again! The second half will be up soon-ish. ♥
I wanted to make it clear that things are not perfect as far as the outside world goes.
That's exactly why it was so great, because they or especially Oliver can't just clap his hands and make his wild past go away, because he's now leading a different more toned down life. It has to be dealt with and luckily he has Chloe by his side *happy sigh*
I'm happy that my comments are not just some rambling nonsense to you, because I do have a tendensy to go on and on when I like something, but in my defense everything's from the heart. Hugs you back..:))
