You know you're a sushi addict when the owners of your favourite local sushi restaurant know you by name.

39 Kaiten at Crossroads. Suprisingly good for mall food -- it's on my short list of sushi resturants in the Seattle area.

Oh, I don't know. He might not have rembembered my name, but he knew me as the guy that brought him fresh quail eggs. *G* On the other hand, it is a guy that Skippy knows.

*G* This is starting to sound like a "You know you're a sushi addict when..." list.

You know you're a sushi addict when...
  • the owner of your favourite sushi knows you by name.
  • you've known as the guy who brought fresh quail eggs.
  • you know what everything on the sushi menu tastes like.
  • ... and you know all of the dishes by thier name.
  • ... and you know what the English names of all of the foods are.
  • you trust the chef enough to say, "give me whatever's freshest"
  • ... and that was what you were in the mood for anyway.
  • you'd rather sit at the bar than at the table, because you can taste the difference in quality that five minutes makes.

... and so on...
