Girl, you do have guts, and they're absolutely loveable! As are you! *glomps*

As for the kitties, I hear you. My dog is scheduled for surgery on March 2 to remove a giant fat tumor, (about the size of a large melon) and it's gonna cost me about $900. It's just mind boggling.

Hope everything works out ok.

Ouch... kitty bill sounds frighteningly high.. and LUNGWASH?? WTF??? Sounds not. fun.

HEE!!! Thank you so much for that, and for commenting on my blog (makes it look like people actually read it haha).

The lungwash is apparently putting some liquid into their lungs and then sucking it out, to harvest some cells to send to the lab. It's all done under general anaesthetic.

Oh, DAMN. That's a lot to pay, even for kitties! I'm so sorry.

About your blog--you have a link going to www.butyoudontlooksick.com for the essay on the Spoon Theory...but I can't find a link to that essay over there anymore. There's a whole section on the Spoon Theory, but there's no link to the PDF file.

The website has a message saying they're changing things around and please be patient. I'll wait a few days and check it again.
