I just saw the other day that he was going to be doing Battle of the Blades this year, and thought how much fun he'd be on that. Man.

Not the most reputable source, but the Toronto Sun is saying it was suicide. Ugh. I didn't say anything about Rick Rypien's death, because I just sort of couldn't, but I can't believe this is happening again.

And I was just reading an article on how Marc Savard's career is over.

This has been the worst off season. I'm having a fairly hard time dealing with all of it. It feels like my summer started with a riot and is ending with death.
