I don't get to comment often (I usually have enough time to read my f-list, but not comment), but I enjoy reading about your work with the cats. That's a great picture of Thor, it's a very 'personable' picture.

Good pictures are nice to have for animals awaiting adoption. Our one cat we adopted from the local shelter when she was a year and a half. They don't have all their animals photo's online, mostly pets of the week and such. We adopted her back in 2003, and I still have the picture, which she looks scared in. I'd already met her before they posted the picture, and decided that she wanted to come home with us as we were on our way home from the shelter (we looked at cats one day, then went back for the adoption). Once she got adjusted to her new home, she's been one of the most outgoing cats I've ever had. She enjoys snuggling up with me for a few hours a day, but she also will visit with other people when we have friends over. She'll be 8 years in January and she still likes us and our friends to play with her.
