Article says: The Forum staff is back with a brand new hand drawn logo and has given yet another opportunity to a bright young student named Pia Ilagan. She is very happy and willing to represent her artistic gifts as well as the class of 2006. Even if she's not incredibly interested in art, she loves to do lettering and graphics on the computer. "Photoshop is my besfriend," said Pia, "becuase it keeps me busy." Coming from the Philippines, Pia entered Gahr in November of her junior year.
So where can we find her? Pia hangs out in the center quad doing what everone else is doing which is hanging out with her close friends. Aside from the basics, she spends some of her time doing outreach work such as community service. She tends to make friends very easily because of her amazing personality. Away from making friends, Pia takes great enjoyment in singing, playing the guitar and playing a Filipino/African instrument called the K-hon.
After high school Pia would like to study business and still keep in touch with her close friends because she believes that they are the "closest thing next to family."
So I made it to our newspaper. Kinda sad how my friend Adriana quoted me when I said "Photoshop is my bestfriend," because I just sounded like a loser. LOL.
But it's all good.
And community service?! In the Philippines, yeah. Over here?! DANG.
It was awesome having random people come up to me and tell me I'm in the paper. I LOVED THE ATTENTION. ♥
