vandaag kreeg ik een mooi briefje van jabra plus een pakketje in de bus.

Jabra BT620s + Jabra A320s = 130 euro gratis gekregen in gadget vorm!

We run vpopmail & qmailadmin on NFS these days, and changing passwords & adding new email accounts wouldn't work for some reason. Apparently the problem is solved if you compile vpopmail without filelocking, and recompile qmailadmin.

I plan on moving from cdb files asap to mysql.

Yeah!!! I won a bluetooth headset! The Jabra BT620s. It was the most retarded contest ever! "Name 3 Jabra products". And ofcourse, I know most gadgets on the market by heart. ;-)

Today one of my employers really suprised me. For a few weeks now I have been complaining about the lack of lollypops here in the office. If we have coffee, tea and coca cola, we also should have some good ol' chupa chup's. Today my boss got me teh mother of all chupa chup's, and also told me never to speak about those things again.

I am giving up on the whole 'network raid1' thing.

Lesson learned: network raid1 does not work. If you want true redundacy you must have a shared storage unit, with something like scsi or fibrechannel, 2 fileservers and a cluster filesystem.

I didn't fail, I just found 5 ways it doesn't work. :-)
