Feeling great this morning, maybe just on account of the house finally feeling like it's closer to being in order. We spent a lot of money this weekend--bought 6 place-settings of dishes (though $100 of that was a gift from David's mom) and and some shelves. I'm glad to hear that things with the house are getting settled and that your job is going well too (I read your other posts). sorry to be so distant - I've been around LJ a bit, but just so busy with getting stuff organized around my mom's house and spending time with them. the last two months have just flown by, and I've still got so much organizing to do. and also trying to relax a bit and enjoy my family and not working.

I'm not sure if you've been following my posts or not, but I'll be going to Japan in December. Hope things work out better this time for me and Masahiko.

Just saw your reply, haven't been able to dig up the entry you replied to, though! Feel free to email me at nighsparrow @ gmail dot com. I've ditched my Comcast emails, since we've switched entirely to AT&T now.

The house is incredibly distracting. It's definitely true that it's so much less work renting an apartment. Still, it's nice not to worry about making noise in the middle of the night and having a back yard to step out into. We have little bunnies that come hang out in the grass on sunny days, and they are so cute!

I hope your stay in Japan goes well! Are you excited about going? What will you be doing while you're there?
