Went to the doctor today for my toe. I injured it a year ago and recently it's been looking a bit yellow. The doctor said it doesn't look like fungus and that my nail matrix must have been injured. They want me to grow it out some more and then take a sample of it. The only way to fix the matrix is surgery. Typically, complete removal of the nail

They said it would go away on it's own. Though it hasn't gone quite yet, it is a bit smaller.. slightly.

A trash compactor? I don't think we have those over here. Must be a typical American thing. =)

Nail removal sounds unpleasant but I'm fairly sure it's not as bad as it sounds.
