who are you bullshitting? you still love your dad. if you didn't you wouldn't have written anything. don't make his problems your problems, but you can still love him.
saying you don't love him is the easy way out. and obviously it still weighs on you. you haven't made peace with anything. you have to accept, yes, he hurt me. no, it's not my fault. yes, he's imperfect and a human just like me and yes he has made horrible terrible decisions and mistakes but haven't you too? therefore. i think some forgiveness is in order or else you're never going to forget.
holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to drop dead.
not that i'm saying you're holding a grudge.. just thought i'd add that in there. you have to be responsible for your feelings.

This entry was a way for me to get what was spewing in my head,
and now that it's out, it's out.
Everything you said, checked it off before.
But I'm not going to have someone in my life who won't put the effort in to keep me in theirs.
I love him, yes. But that's as far as it goes.
