In case you haven't noticed. The streets in downtown SF which are normally Tow-Away zones from 3pm-6pm are now 3pm-7pm.  This pisses me off for two reasons:

1. The local businesses have their weeknight business cut by one hour. Sure, you can pay to park, but who really wants to do that when you used to be able to squat a parking spot at 5:55pm. I am

those bastards got me a few weeks ago! my jaw DROPPED when i found out how much it was for the tow (and i got a parking ticket on top of it!)

the cost of meters is also going up and the price of tickets going up. all of this while they increase the cost of muni fast passes by $15, and individual bus fares are going up plus they're going to start charging for transfers

im sure they are going to both start ticketing more AND enforcing no cell while drving rules. in hard times theyll do everything they can.
