why is cake so irresistable? I could eat cake any day, and never get tired of it. He ate half of it, and the other half is still there, mocking me. Damn him.
All of that reminds a couple years ago being in the height of my diet and where a client of my father's invited us to a college football game. To begin with, it was at stadium where the Ravens play and the guy had a luxury box suite. To add at the suite was all the cookies, beer, cold cuts you can pretty much have. I guess I figured it was an off day to begin with, 'cause between feeling so cool that I got in the stadium for the first time ever (it's a guy thing :P) and being able to drink away was nice.
Then came dinner.
Inner Harbor, forget the name of the place. But to begin with we had fancy smancy appitizers. Fish, maybe an inkling of caviar. Lots of wine, including some port. Then the steaks came. As you put they were so damn fine. 10 chews with a forkful and it was gone. So yummy. Finally in the end some lovely cheesecake.
Moral of the babbling: Damn I miss the steak, beer and oatmeal raisin cookies from that day
