Is it bad that I don't even remember writing this? In August, I spent a while digging my teeth into HP fandom because it was so immense & new & everything. I wrote a few things. And whilst I was at my father's for a few days over Christmas with not much to read I rummaged around through bits & pieces which I hadn't read since I'd written them. Found this. A file created at 2am on the night after my brother's birthday. That day we'd had a mourning party in the house, only my brother hadn't told them it was his birthday because the boy who'd died didn't make his twentieth. Only I still don't remember writing it even though I know exactly what had been going on.

It is sort of unfortunate. I don't know anyone in Harry Potter fandom at all. I honestly don't know how it happened. I had an idea for a piece of LI fandom fic the other day though. Maybe I should try and get that posted within the next few days to make up for it.

Wow. Such an incredible comment. You know, I've always felt oddly drawn to the idea of having quotes from comments on this journal's front page the way they do on book jackets & if I ever did it this would have to be up there. In other words, I feel completely flattered.

I might not be writing too much for a while though. I have major projects & exams on this month. (Although the last time I wrote a lot here that was true too. Oh dear, what does that say about me?)

I never thought I'd write HP fic but there's some really great writing in the HP fandom and I got too attached to Remus/Sirius and had a write them. At first I did it secretly (first fics in a fandom are rarely good) but when I reread this I felt a need to post. I've got the other bits all planned out so, once my exams are done (or maybe before), I should be posting it up here.
