It reminds me of a Rise Against song, which reminds me of American Beauty, which all in all makes me sad. But it's a good sort of sad, I think, if that's possible.

I just want to know what The Thing is and, in response to your comment below, I swear anyone would want to date Jesse. He seems to have many good qualities, but he said in an interview that he was having trouble and I'm like "wtf who wouldn't want to date Jesse" and then I remembered... Sigh. The incident of doom.

I like the mood. It's subtle (I love the image of John staring at a blank ceiling; it's so simply sad), which is what I often enjoy about your writing. There're no flippant phrases. You have a wicked balance between economy of language and poetry. Man, I love it when you update!

I don't know where I hopped off to. I just sort of did? Though I do have a lot of school junk going down at the moment.

To be honest, I don't know why I stopped. It wasn't a concious decision I just haven't written anything much lately. Hopefully I'll get back to it again soon.
