hahaha, a cousin of mine from Cali was saying the same thing about my sister's accent (and mine too, I guess).

It's by Aguas, about 3 hours away from Guadalajara.

hahaha yeah one time when i used to work at shoreline some guys stopped by and they were talking amogst themselves about taxes in california or something. and i was like oh are you guys from california, and they were like yeah can you tell becuase of our accent? I was like no you dont really have an accent I just overheard you talking about california. and then they asked me if i was from here and i was like yeah why do I have an ahhhhcent? lol it just came out the really elongated "A" and they just started laughing. I noticed it the second it came out too, so now im a little more concious about the way i pronouce my vowels especially the letter A
