This is why one should never accept vague answers from any politician on a campaign.... always ask for specifics, like "how, exactly, do you plan to end the Iraqui war?" or "How do you plan on setting up the 'universal healthcare' system you seem to be pushing?" and not just accepting the platform of vague promises most politicians sem to want to present.

After all, the best way to prove to candidates that the voting public at large aren't just idiots who happen to have qualified to be registered to vote. Ask intelligent questions and expect intelligent answers, or accept that your potential elected official will assume that they're right about anything and everything they believe about their constituents.

All I know, is that I sure didn't vote for a single democrat in the last election. Nor did anyone in my household.

Your dead on. Democrats ran on nothing but empty promises this election season, and they fooled the majority of americans. I think most americans (who even knew what dems were promising) thought they obviously had a viable plan, otherwise they wouldnt be making such outlandish promises (such as free healthcare, free raises, easy victory/end in iraq, etc).

Well, uh... what they're actually doing is trying to get an equal number of Democrats in with the vastly-Republican military.

The vast majority of soldiers that make up our army are from more prosperous families and have a higher education than the average youth.
