Most likely, yes. $254 sounds reasonable per person for a round-trip ticket over that distance.
One thing you can (and should) do is to play around with the search criteria and see how the fares change. Try changing the number of people in your group, whether you want a non-stop flight or not, a different departing airport (if there are any other airports near you). This will give you a better idea of the general price range of fares to Pittsburgh.
You could also try http://www.farecast.com/ to get a better picture of what fares are/will be like for that route.
