Watching the New York evening news has taken on a surreal quality. I fully expect to see footage of horrible explosions and giant monster tracks every time they return from commercial. -

Coming back to work after a vacation is always a little disorienting. Hauntingly familiar and yet somehow wrong. It's a little like waking up in a universe where everything is perfectly normal, except cats wear pants.
