Yuck -- so not fair when you're excited about a trip and then this happens. I know you're not too far from me, and though snow has been threatened, the weather's not *that* bad at present -- or is it on the other end?

My flight is for 8:30am tomorrow.

Continental cancelled the 8:30am flight from Newark to LA tomorrow morning because they say the weather will be really bad at that time.

How they can book me on the 1pm flight, which is later that day, sort of doesn't make sense... but at least I HAVE a seat.

I wonder if CO think that, the 8:30am flight being pre-rush-hour, Newark might be full of iced-up planes and not enough people to run the deicers? Or something?

Continental has a number of flights tomorrow, direct Newark to LA.

And flights from Newark to Colorado to LA too.

4:30, Virgin America, JFK. (I *hope* the weather will be in my favor, but on the other hand the winds are predicted to pick up towards the end of the day.)

*bites nails* I hope so too. I don't know what JFK is like as an airport and reliability and keeping flights up over Newark. I only take international flights from JFK.
