y'know... i heard somewhere that mexicans don't eat tacos- it's a purely american dish, like the nacho. ...& most of taco bell's menu... (chalupa? gordita? really? but i *heart* the taco bell. not for the tacos though. it changes often, but right now, i'm really diggin another "mexican" dish of questionable authenticity- the fiesta potatoes.

& really, i prefer a soft flour tortilla to a crunchy corn one. but OMGfood for 50 cents? can't pass that up. i can dig a taco, but i wouldn't really use the word 'love'. now if they had 50 cent quesadillas, well then i... i just don't know what i'd do...

Awwww! LOVE for the behaviours, habits and antics of our furry babies in their attempts for attention (and most likely, food)! Also, $1 tacos? I think that is one thing that we don't already have incorporated in to our culture from American society that I could deal with!

&OMeffinG- is that... is that an elephant on a trampoline?!? that is both hilarious & personally relevant... *sips coffee & prepares to tell you the story*

way way back in my day, when i was in high school, i took French (b/c i didn't want to take Spanish or German & those were my only choices.) anyway, there was a guy in my class who was *extremely* funny. one day, in the middle of class- all was silent- we must've been taking a quiz or something- anyway, suddenly, for no reason at all- he blurts out "ELEPHANTS DON'T JUMP!" this struck me as particularly funny- funny b/c it's true... i spent a lot of time thinking about it- about *why* elephants don't jump- & i determined that it is b/c their knees (in the front) bend the wrong way. so anyway- i think the only French i can remember now is something like "les elefants ne saunter pas". o yes. but it seems it was all a LIE.

& that is my jumping elephant story. *watches your icon for 15 minutes, giggling*
