I really wanted to write something pretty for "girl," but just when I had started to formulate something in my mind, a story about a man stumbling upon a picture of a girl while packing his stuff up to move away (to where I'd figure out later), I had to get on a plane and fly back to Poughkeepsie

Ha ha, thanks. I could easily say the same for you (your movie list--which has a few I still intend to see--and lj entries, anyway). It was definitely cool talking to you at the party. It was nice to find somebody who had something interesting to say and wasn't completely incoherent, not to mention somebody who listened and responded like an active participant in the conversation. Hope the rest of your weekend went well.
