He had to make sure that everything had returned to normal. If all was well, Radu would have been returned to his own world, and the basement room attached to his laboratory would be nothing more than storage space.
Stalking into the lab, he shut the door behind him only to turn to see a familiar figure emerging from the basement room.

He spread his lips in a deliberately menacing smile, fangs prominant.
"Well, hello 'beloved'," he murmured. "Coming to see if I was still here?"
There had been no other way to interpret the look on Jezebel's face when he saw him.

"Yes, as a matter of fact," he said. He leaned on the door, glancing around the laboratory; what had once been in the storage room was now in the lab, which meant Radu's little hiding hole must still be as it was during the virus. "Why are you still here?"

He wasn't in the least bit intimidated by this man, of course. He was just a bit...perturbed overall at being so far from home in the middle of a human city.
"I suppose the community didn't bother to put me back in hell after it was done with me, which I can only be grateful for. But I apologize for imposing too long upon your hospitality," he added, with a trace of sarcasm.
He wondered if Jezebel would even know what he meant. Probably not. In his odd double-memory, he recalled that in the version where he was married to Jezebel, it had been the doctor who somehow rescued him and nursed him back to health, and Dietrich had never had a chance to put Radu under his spell.
