I have seen the evil you fight against
SO I sit here, feeling totally unable to get up, get dressed or go to uni. I have blankness, guys, and it sucks ;-;
so I thought I'd tell you my feelings on Merlin, which is perhaps not a good time considering how sad I feel;
I am so Team Evil it hurts. Because the show is saying they're evil! BUT I DON'T THINK THEY ARE.
Ever since Merlin had to lie to Arthur to get him to stop killing his father, I have found myself very annoyed at the show.
Because they basically set up it to say that Uther is this whole tyrant against magic. He KILLED BABIES. HE DROWNED THEM. HE KILLED GWEN'S FATHER FFS!
And Morgana gets magic, and all Merlin can do is say that maybe it's not so bad after all, or something? Seriously. If he'd told her about his magic, and that it was going to be okay in the future, or something, she'd have an ally. sigh.
Speaking of Merlin, what does he think of defending the kingdom that basically hates all that he is. If Arthur knew, or something. But he keeps helping them, helping Uther, lying to Arthur. AND I DON'T LIKE IT.
IT'S A TYRANNICAL REGIME. IT SHOULD FALL. REVOLUTION, MERLIN, THAT'S THE KEY.
It's like if say, Magic people were a metaphor for Jewish people, and there's a Jew in court denying his religion and helping the tyrannical regime. not cool.
Morgause is a BAMF. I like King Cendred. He seems clever. <3
