$470? Ouch. Though the IL Bar (if I take it) will be $750. I've gotta check on how much the CA Bar costs...

Plus, BarBri's another $2500 or so...

ah but you forget that this is only step 1 of the boards-- step two is significantly more expensive, plus the $1000 fee for the patient portion, plus step three which is like $8-900. the whole thing costs around $3000-- not counting traveling expenses (b/c the closest area where i can take the patient part of the boards is in philly...

I'm kinda shocked that the largest city in the country doesn't have a testing site for the boards. I take it that, unlike law school, the boards are a national thing, and not state-by-state?
