Woke up today and it started fairly average, had a shower, sat down to check my emails. Toasted some waffles for breakfast which were a total impulse buy at the supermarket last night, and then the fun began. Looking on seek for a new job. Found an ad that Jackie would have loved. Boutique ribbon store, looking for retail persons. Ad specifies, 'must have a genuine love and passion for ribbons and stationery'.

Have my uni timetable. 10.30am->7.30pm on tuesday, and 9.30am->9.30pm on thursday, with a couple of hours on both days that are conveniently around meal times. Hell of a killer couple of days, but other than that good. Leaves me time to work. Where art thou, second job of 2007?

Having just returned from the supermarket where I, alone, lined up to buy a single litre of milk in between couples and men buying bunches of flowers, I declare this officially the most depressing valentines day ever.

And now I'm going to play WoW. Go me.

Still preferable to doing ironing.

Saw Pan's Labyrinth last night. It was, as I had previously been informed, almost horrifically brutal, but it was still a really really amazing film. I would urge anybody who can find the time to go and see it while it's still around. Unfortunately, as is often the case with international films, it's not showing at very many cinemas.
