So posting has escaped me once again. Back to work this week, so I've been a touch busy and tired. Not really been up to much else actually. Rosebud last week was awesome. I'll get around to doing a proper post about that later this week :)

Anyway, I have some new music loves.

MUSIC

Unknown Mortal Orchestra
These (three) guys are a UK based band. The lead guitarist and frontman (Ruban Nielson) is a sheep-lover, I mean, a New Zealand-er. They have a '60s slash '70s sounds with a modern digital/techno twist that seems to be over-taking the alternative/indie scene at the moment.

[Okay, so my internet/Youtube is being weird and not showing me the embed link, so I'll update it later.]

Foster the People
An LA indie-pop band (who I am seeing at the end of this month!!!). They have an electro-synth kind of sound that I'm really starting to like, but their sound is also quite folk-y (a little Mumford & Sons crossed with Architecture in Helsinki). Their one album, 'Torches', is a fantastic listen, and I highly recommend it. I think my favourite tracks are: 'Pumped up kicks' and 'Helena Beat'.
