This will just have to be an update post because I've not done particularly much in the past week and a half to inspire any writing.

My life since last Weekly Wednesday post:

FRIDAY (10/2/2012)
Had a friend's 21st which was 'M' themed (her name starts with M). A friend and I went as '60s mods. I teased my hair up as big as I could, the photos don't really show how big it was because since my hair is basically black it blended into the background, *sigh*

VALENTINE'S DAY
Went over to the boyfriend's place to watch The Empire Strikes Back. I bought macarons from this stall in the Royal Arcade for him (he got me Lindt chocolates), which we ate in front of the TV :) We ordered pizza & garlic bread. It was a really chill night in.

{chocolate, salted caramel, choc-orange, rasberry}

THURSDAY (16/2/2012)
Went out shopping for birthday presents (totally and completely broke now D: ), also bought myself a new Lime Crime lipstick (Glamour 101) and an umbrella from Lincraft because stupid Melbourne weather turned from sunny and beautiful Summer weather to muggy, humid and POURING. Ended up not finishing all my errands

FRIDAY (17/2/2012)
Last minute shopping with a friend for more birthday presents at Vic Markets. We were sorely tempted to get jam donuts, but didn't. Then, I met up with the boyfriend after he finished his exam and went over to his place to watch One Piece and for dinner because I was to poor for a night out with the girls :'(

Oh! I also checked out the place I want to book for my 21st! It looks pretty awesome, I can play my own music and there's no hire fee or minimum spend! I just need to email the function planner/organiser and figure out some minor details and my 21st is set! This is exactly what I wanted, a fuss-free birthday. The main problem I've noticed with hiring out a venue for parties is sorting out numbers. Facebook isn't exactly a great way to determine the number of guests coming to your party, so I figured with a small venue the can hold about 40 or so people should suffice, and if I don't have to pay for the use it's totally cool if I can't make the numbers or go over. Now, the other dilemma I am/was having is with the bar tab. Since my parents don't approve of me drinking, they're not particularly keen on paying for it, however, mum has given me a set amount to spend on my party, since I don't have to pay for the place, that money will likely go towards a bar tab.

SATURDAY (TODAY)
Shopping with the boyfriend to get him some shirts. Mum's taking me shopping tomorrow so I took snaps of clothes I liked. We also stopped by an awesome store filled with many a nerd thing and found something I was planning on buying on eBay for my friend. Then we stopped for cake. He had apple strudel and I had a Belgian waffle. So good.

There's another skirt I photographed, but the picture came out really weird because of the lighting in the store.

Okay, that's all I can think of. Lots of shopping next week :) More birthday presents and some back to school stuff. Unfortunately I may have to dig into my savings a bit :( but after next week, my spending will subside quite a bit, which is good. I will have to get a new train ticket for semester, but that's something I have to get anyway.

'Til next time, xoxo
